The X Games 2013 Hospitality Structures

The X Games Summer Tour is back for 2013, and the first of the four stops this year is the spectacular city of Foz do Iguacu in Brazil. The Games will be centred around Foz do Iguacu’s incredible waterfalls, which will provide a stunning setting for some of the world’s top extreme athletes to do their thing. Look out for Brown United Structures including the Red Bull Hospitality Structure and the lighted 2-story Structure for Go Pro.

Red Bull X-Fighters - May 11th, 2013

The world's top freestyle motocross riders compete at Red Bull X-Fighters in Southern California. This will mark the second year in a row the series has descended on Glen Helen Raceway, which will again feature the largest, most progressive FMX course ever built, with Bleachers, Ramps, and Audience Seating by Brown United. The event, which features the world's top riders pushing the laws of physics with their motorcycles, will take place on Saturday, May 11 at 1 p.m. PT.

Hospitality Structure for Red Bull X Games

Brown United returned to Aspen, CO again in 2013 to build temporary event structures, such as the Red Bull Hospitality Suite (below), for one of the most highly anticipated events of the year.

Winter X Games returned at the end of January 2013 for its 16th edition, with over 200 of the best winter sports action athletes from the world of freeskiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling taking part. Tens of thousands of people watched from the slopes of Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, CO, with millions more tuning into ESPN's live coverage.

In March, the action once again switches to the Brown United Event Structures in the French Alps at Tignes for more snow-shredding thrills and spills.

Red Bull Crashed Ice in St. Paul, Minnesota

The Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championship makes it way to Saint Paul, MN on January 26 as one of five stops around the world. The sport is Ice Cross Downhill which is a combination of hockey, boardercross, and downhill skiing with ramps and structures by Brown United. Known to many as the fastest sport on skates, but dictated by one goal: first to the bottom wins. It’s challenging, fast, cold, hard, unique and action packed.

To determine a champion, consecutive heats of four skaters race head-to-head in a double elimination. For the full schedule and more information make sure you check out the Red Bull Crashed Ice site HERE.

US Red Bull Flugtag 2012 – Philly, Miami, San Fransisco

Red Bull Flugtag challenges teams of everyday people to build homemade, human-powered flying machines and pilot them off a 30-foot high deck in hopes of achieving flight! Flugtag may mean "flying day" in German, but all these crafts ultimately splash into the waters below. They are judged not only on their flight's distance, but creativity and showmanship as well. Brown United provides the launch platforms as well as other temporary event structures for this unique and popular event.

Unfortunately, the Chicago event was cancelled due to unforseen weather conditions.
