Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) - Las Vegas, NV

The sold-out 19th annual Electric Daisy Carnival kicked off this evening at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for its fifth year in Vegas.

Known for its elaborately decorated stages,  this year’s event features eight newly designed stages, ranging from the massive Kinetic Field to the more intimate Funk House, which together hosted over 200 DJ's.

Kinetic Field is themed this year as Crystal Village, drawing its design from the inspiration of the four elements – earth, fire, water, and air. The Brown United stage spans 480 feet wide and stands 100 feet tall, making it the largest stage in North America. It features 1,000 lighting fixtures, 40 lasers, 22 flame units, 15 confetti blowers and a water fall.

Ramps, Scaffolds, Barricades for 2012 Global RallyCross Championship

The final event in the 2012 Global RallyCross Championship was hosted at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway September 29th, 2012. Brown United constructed the Ramps for the race as well as Barricades and Scaffolds. Tanner Foust wrapped up one title and edged closer to another at Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the fifth round of the 2012 GRC. Taking a heat win and the final over teammate, and title rival, Brian Deegan, Foust now leads in his quest for a second successive GRC title by six points following the calculation of dropped points. Heading toward the season-ending showdown at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas on October 30th, Foust has 72 points to Deegan’s 66.  They are the only two with a shot at the title.
