After four stops in Europe, the World Series leaps over the Atlantic and touches back down in one of America’s oldest cities – Boston, Massachusetts. After last season’s premiere, the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series athletes will climb back to the top of the Institute of Contemporary Art building on Fan Pier to exhibit their latest skills high diving off of the Brown United platform.

The sixth stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2011 was in Boston Harbour at Fan Pier on August 20th. Rather than natural cliffs, the divers will use the Brown United cantilever roof of the Institute of Contemporary Art building on Fan Pier Boston as their diving platform which soars 80 feet above the water’s edge. It will be the Series’ first-ever East Coast stop in the United States. Check out the video highlights below.
