    2011 Quicken Loans Carrier Classic - 11-11-11

The Michigan State Spartans and the North Carolina Tar Heels tip off the first college basketball telecast of the 2011-12 seasons by facing off in the Quicken Loans Carrier Classic tonight, November 11, 2011, on ESPN. This event will take place on the flight deck of the USS Carl Vinson in San Diego, California, marking the first-ever NCAA game to be played on an active aircraft carrier. Brown United built the Bleachers and Audience Seating for this unprecedented event.

Quicken Loans and Brown United are proud to be a part of this event as a way to honor the veterans and troops who bravely serve our country on Veterans Day and every day. This event is more than two great basketball teams coming together to play in an incredible environment. Its a way to recognize and support the service of the members of the Armed Forces, the veterans and their families and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
